One of the woods to closely rival Brazilian Rosewood for tone, Cocobolo is proving to be a very popular choice and whilst it may not always be as visibly stunning as its Brazilian cousin regards grain pattern it certainly makes up for it with colour, the strong orangy red hues against dark, dark brown (sometimes almost black) is a strikingly beautiful contrast.
The rich bottom end, clean tone and excellent sustain will delight your ears no end.
